Robert E. Brown


The 356th Bomb Squadron suffered a non battle casualty on 5 August 1945 in the person of Corporal (911) Robert E. Brown, who died in the 373rd General Hospital four hours after being struck by a bomb which fell from the bomb bay rack of an airplane he was loading. Funeral was conducted on 7 August 1945 and soldier was buried at the U.S. Military Cemetery near Agat. Chaplain Stowers officiated.
