Transcriptions of the official histories is a work in progress. The transcriptions come from documents microfilmed by the Air Force Historical Research Agency (AFHRA). The initial transcription will be of the narrative summary, and will include selected, but not all of the supporting documents for each of the monthly histories. The supporting documents consist of special orders, memorandum, report forms, copies of TWX messages, photographs and in some cases select daily bulletins of the wing and group. This will take a long time to transcibe and I wanted to focus initially on transcription of the unit history summaries.
